EVENT SCHEDULE: 10:00am to 4:00pm at Francis Beach
Representatives from five different California State Parks, four different non-profit organizations supporting California State Parks, volunteers, artists, native plant enthusiasts, and community groups who support the mission of Coastal Wildflower Day will present a diverse array of fun, interactive activities to educate and inspire stewardship of our parks for all ages.
PRIZES FOR ALL AGES:
ENTER TO WIN THE RAFFLE with $50 gift card prize (need not be present to win!)
COLORING CONTEST – prizes in both adult and child categories
EVENT PASSPORT – visit twelve booths and get your passport stamped to collect a prize

2:00pm-2:30pm Kū Kahi Hula – demonstration and performance of Hula dancing
2:15pm-3:15pm BIRD WALK with Rita Jennings – meet at Visitor Center
2:30pm Coloring Contest winners announced
2:30pm-4:00pm Chinese Melodrama – live musical entertainment
The mission of Coastal Wildflower Day is to inspire stewardship of diverse, interconnected ecosystems that support thriving coastal wildflower habitats, and to celebrate the vital role of volunteer community restoration efforts at our Coastside State Parks, now and in the future.
